Sri Lanka's High Commissioner to India, Milinda Moragoda met with the Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister of India Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman in New Delhi, today (11).
At the outset, High Commissioner Moragoda thanked the Indian Finance Minister for the personal interest that she has taken in supporting Sri Lanka at this critical time. He also thanked her for the assistance that India has provided to Sri Lanka as envisaged under the four-pillars of cooperation that was agreed during the visit of Sri Lankan Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa to India in December last year.

It may be noted that due to present technical issues being experienced at the Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Ltd. online system some air passengers are reportedly experiencing difficulties submitting their Health Declaration Forms online when travelling to Sri Lanka. Therefore, until such time that the system is rectified, it is not mandatory to submit Health Declaration Forms online and Health Declaration Forms can be submitted at the airport on arrival.

All Sri Lankans and Foreigners are requested to upload their vaccine certificates and PCR test results to the following link in order to facilitate swift completion of arrival formalities at ports of entry into Sri Lanka:
https://airport.lk/health_declaration/index
While the above documents can also be submitted on arrival in hard copy, online uploading of the certificates and carrying copies of the same with the traveller would ensure swift completion of formalities without any delays. |
