High Commission of Sri Lanka in India

Minister of Indigenous Medicine Salinda Dissanayake attended the two day International Conference on Traditional Medicine for South – East Asian Countries that was held in New Delhi which concluded with the Delhi Declaration. Ministers of India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan as well as WHO representatives and experts from different parts of the world attended the Conference.

An eight-member team of boys and girls from Montfort School of New Delhi will be visiting Richmond College, Galle from 16-25 February 2013 under the aegis of the Student Exchange Programme of the India-Sri Lanka Foundation. The student team is accompanied by the Principal of the School Brother K. Monachan along with the School Counselor Mrs. Renu Singla and Arts teacher Mr. Abdul Qayyum. 

Minister of Health Maithripala Sirisena attended the Conference of the First South Asian Autism Network in New Delhi on 11th February 2013 which adopted the Delhi Declaration of the South Asian Autism Network for Autism Spectrum Disorders.  

Sri Lanka’s National Crafts Council, with the assistance of the Sri Lanka High Commission in New Delhi, arranged the participation of Sri Lankan craftspersons and artistes at the annual Surajkund International Crafts Mela 2013 from 1st – 15th February at Surajkund, Faridabad, Haryana.
